Arthas knowing that it was not enough to just kill Rapts, buried the incorrigible mage under a pillar of ice. ("Let's nuke it from orbit - just to be sure" had not been invented in Arthas's time, but the sentiment remains the same)
Unknown to Arthas, our greek mage (yes he combs his back hair) was not deterred and gave a rousing speech to rally the troops. Rallied by Rapts's monologue, our adventurers got a steely glint of determination in their eyes and the Lich King went down like an Irish parachute.
Grats to our Kingslayers!!
But our thanks also needs to go to the players that contributed to them getting to the Lich King:

So the past two weeks was full of fun and excitement. First of all welcome to all the new guildies.
We have also started with the restructuring of the guild ranks. Big things and all very exciting.
Our 25 man got 6/12 in ICC. Our group 1 got 11/12 in ICC and group 2 got 7/12.
Group 1 or otherwise know as Team Blue Bulls (this is not a mutual agreement between the raid members :P) are busy on the Lich King fight. They are getting closer by the day to making him eat some throne dust.
Was a big achievement when they got Sindragosa down.
So keep your eyes on this spot, the Lich King's death will be documented in due time.

We had an awesome raiding week. The 25 man raid totally owned the first few bosses in ICC. The 10 mans..... that was total uberness. Totally owned ICC.
We however had a "new" boss that owned us..... The SA Latency boss just once again showed some of us that we are not more uber than him. However we did not stop, we just went straight on and showed him we will not be downed by his lameness.
Want to welcome some of the old FoA peeps back. Good having you guys join the ranks and adding to the uber raiding we currently have.
We currently have a lot of discussions running on the forum, including the new Catalysm raid setup that was announced. Very interesting and a lot of different views on the subject. Please go join in and give us your feedback.
We kicking off with ICC 25. Running like a dream with all the new guys. Thank you to all the raiders making this possible and showing your strengths.

Yeah right. That's what Illidan said just before we killed him on Sunday. Old raid farming continued on Sunday for the legendaries. But the bosses are very persistant that we should come again, because they don't want to give us the legendaries.
Raiding is awesome. Our 25 man achieved 6/12 in ICC. A job well done to all the raiders. It was our first week, after the reconstruction, of running a full on 25 man raid and we performed beyond awesome together.
We have some great new players that joined us this week. Welcome to you all. Some of the old FoA'ers came back as well. So Welcome Back to you.
This coming raid cycle we will be going strong and do VOA25, weekly raid and ICC25. Sunday coming we are running for legendaries again. So hopefully we will have a legendary to show.
The forums are busy, so go throw an eye there and join in the current discussions.
Well this is the news for the week.
